TC Bulletin

The trade record for transaction coordinators

Every figure on this site is attributed to a named primary source, dated, and corroborated where vendor data is involved.

The source directory

There was no dedicated news aggregator for this profession, so the first thing we built was the list. This is what the desk reads.

Entries marked confirmed were checked at the source. Entries marked unconfirmed came from research we have not yet re-verified directly, and feed URLs on those may have moved. We publish the difference rather than presenting all of it as equally solid. Sister properties in the Freehold Studio ecosystem are listed alongside their competitors and labelled, because leaving them out of a directory that names everyone else would tell you less, not more. Advertising here is open to anyone in this space, competing vendors included.

Regulators and policy bodies

The only authorities on licensing scope. Where a story turns on what a coordinator may legally do, the answer comes from here.

Fraud, title and closing

The compliance and closing-security beat. Vendor reporting here is data-rich and self-interested, so it always runs against the federal figure.

  • ALTAConfirmed

TitleNews plus weekly advocacy, twice-weekly top stories and a daily headlines digest.

Watch: Daily headlines, twice-weekly top stories, weekly advocacy update.

Title underwriters and industry business news

The business behind the closing. The desk scans these for operational consequence rather than market analysis: who now owns the closing agent on your files, whose forms apply, and whether turnaround is about to move.

  • Underwriter and agency news alongside the advocacy items that eventually become closing practice. The first place a change in title procedure surfaces.

Watch: Continuous, with daily headline and twice-weekly digests.

  • October Research. Underwriter results, agency consolidation and enforcement. Scan for ownership changes affecting the closing agents you actually work with.

Watch: Weekday coverage, heavier through quarterly results season.

  • The dedicated title vertical. Usually fastest on acquisitions and on technology moving into title production.

    Watch: Continuous.

  • Funding and technology coverage of records search and title automation, which is where closing turnaround times get set.

    Watch: Continuous.

  • One of the largest underwriters. Product, service and results announcements straight from the source.

Watch: Irregular, with a cluster around quarterly results.

  • Title coverage in a transactions context. The tag page blocks automated checks, so browse from the site.

  • Underwriter announcements and quarterly results. The host refused automated checks from this desk, so the exact news path is unconfirmed.

  • Business WireUnconfirmed

Where title-sector transactions land as a primary release, generally ahead of trade coverage. Useful for reading the announcement rather than a summary of it.

Watch: Check when a deal is rumoured; not a daily read.

Industry trade press

The generalist outlets. They carry practice-change and proptech reporting faster than anyone, and rarely from a coordinator's point of view.

    Feed
