A trade paper for the desk nobody covers

Transaction coordinators sit where a licensing rule, a contract form, a wire instruction and four software systems all meet. Until now, no publication treated that as a beat.

There is trade press for brokers, for mortgage, for title and for proptech investors. There is a great deal of coaching content for coordinators. What there was not, when we checked, was a publication reporting on the profession itself.

TC Bulletin exists to close that. The information a coordinator needs is scattered across state regulators, association legal departments, title trade press and vendor changelogs, and almost none of it is written with them in mind. We read all of it and file what matters.

How stories are put together

Every figure we publish carries the name of the source that produced it and the date it was produced. Where a number comes from a company with something to sell, the story says so and puts independent corroboration beside it. For fraud reporting that means the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center, which is the only figure in this area with no product attached.

We publish our source list in full, including the entries we have not yet re-verified at the source. 59 sources across 6 categories are in the directory, and 29 of them are marked confirmed.

Who publishes it

That relationship is a conflict, and the honest thing to do with a conflict is to name it in every place it could apply. Advertising on this site is labelled. Coverage of either sister property carries a disclosure in the story. Neither buys favourable treatment, and a trade paper that let it happen would be worth nothing to the profession or to the products.

What we will not do

  • Run affiliate links inside editorial copy.
  • Publish a best-software roundup that ranks by commission.
  • Report a vendor statistic as a market-wide rate.
  • Give legal advice. We report what regulators publish and link to it.
